Ghost&Flower

The art, music and life of Jesse Narens

Here are various demos that I’ve recorded. Mostly single tracks recorded straight to the mic on my laptop. Feel free to download them. Overall, the music is heavily loop based as I try to create the sound of a full band by myself. The sounds are delicate and layered, and while you could choose to listen closely and try to pick out all of the individual elements, I prefer to get “lost in the sound”. As with my paintings, I am trying to bring the places in my head out in a way that can be experienced by other people.

In 2009 I collaborated with the noise group Sinjo Thraw Mash on two different releases.
They are available for free here. and here.

From 2008-2010 I recorded a lot of crappy demos. Some with my girlfriend at the time, some alone. I also received some recordings from a few live events. You can download a lot of that stuff here.
