This first thursday here in Portland I am having a mini show of custom Stegoforests at Grass Hut. A few of my favorite artists will have customs in the show, as well as myself and a set of unpainted ones in rainbow. Artists include Jesse Reno, Chris Bryan (Grumble Toy), Spencer Hibert, Alex Chiu and more.

Just A Bear Floating Through Space

…and an image of the first 3 stegoforest cast in resin. This will be on display all month at Brass Tacks Sandwiches here in Portland, OR along with some of my paintings for a small show I will be having there.

The first run of these will be coming by the end of January, and maybe a few customs for a secret show happening in February (maybe.)

It’s been over a year since this project was started, and the finish line is still pretty far away, but a checkpoint has been hit. For those who don’t know, I’ve been working on getting a toy made based on a character I designed called “Stegoforest.” The sculpt is finally finished, and I love it.

Originally this was going to just be a resin figure, but based on the reaction I’ve been getting I feel like it will be worth it to get this thing done proper and in vinyl.

I’ll probably (definitely) be doing some sort of fundraiser thing to get this made. So stay tuned to find out how you can help out.

In other news.. I just got back from camping out on the moon (aka Nevada desert.)
Minus the heat stroke it was nice to just sit around in the nothingness.

Things are getting a bit fancier. Thanks to my friend James Likeness for helping out!

So this is my new site. Pretty simple for now. Might fancy it up a bit. Not sure yet. Feels good to have something fresh to work with though.
